Carnegie Cable Company
DVR SERVICE NOW AVAILABLE
We are proud to introduce DVR (digital
video recorder) service to all of our cable customers. A DVR is a
special cable box that can record your favorite shows, pause and
rewind live TV, and much more. No longer do you have to be tied to a
network's schedule. DVR lets TV work for you... watch TV on YOUR
schedule.
-
For a limited time,
new customers can get a FREE Single-Tuner DVR upgrade when you
subscribe to our Basic+Digital Basic package.
-
Existing customers
who don't have digital cable can upgrade to it and get a FREE
Single-Tuner DVR upgrade.
-
DUAL TUNER DVR's are
also very popular, as they let you record one thing and watch
something else live. You can also record two shows at once and
watch a previously recorded show. Upgrade to a DUAL-TUNER DVR for
only $6.50/month. (Digital Cable Service Required)
HD Channel Lineup
Adds 2 More Channels
Carnegie Cable is proud to announce the addition of two more
channels of High-Definition programming, KOCB-HD, which carries
programming from The CW Network, and KAUT-HD, which has programming
from MyNetworkTV. These channels are now available to ALL CUSTOMERS
at NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE!
In addition, we already offer CBS-HD, NBC-HD, ABC-HD, FOX-HD,
ESPN-HD, Fox Sports Southwest HD, National Geographic Channel HD,
The Outdoor Channel 2 HD, History HD,
and A&E HD. Check the Basic Cable Lineup page to see all of our
channels.
We are still working to get our HD lineup integrated with our
set-top-boxes. However, if your TV has a compatible QAM tuner, you
can enjoy the HD lineup right now! We sincerely apologize for the
delay in implementing this feature.
The digital satellite services say they offer the "most HD".
While they do offer a dizzying variety of supposedly HD channels, we
focus on the HD channels that offer the most value and entertainment
to our customers, not a lot of channels that have non-HD
programming. If you have a compatible TV, these channels are also
available to you AT NO EXTRA COST. They are included in your normal
monthly fee, and always will be.
All about Carnegie Cable
Carnegie Cable is positively
the best choice around for quality service, great selection, and the
best value for your entertainment dollar.
With over 60
channels in our basic cable package, you can find almost anything
you want to watch. Our digital cable provides over 45 more channels
of great programming, including Sleuth, Game
Show Network, the Discovery Digital channels, ESPNews, ESPN Classic
Sports, Outdoor Channel, Versus, Speed Channel, SoapNet, Turner Classic
Movies, WE- Women's Entertainment, Lifetime Movie Network, and the
Biography Channel, as well as more choices than you can imagine!!
Satellite services like DISH Network and DirecTV charge extra
fees for additional TV's, as well as surcharges for local channels
from Oklahoma City. They also charge for access to HDTV channels. Carnegie Cable provides you with crystal-clear,
reliable service for all of your favorite cable networks like TBS,
TNT, Discovery Channel, Spike TV, Sci-Fi, Nickelodeon, TV Land, and
many more for less than you would ever spend with satellite service.
What's most important is that you will get service and support
from a local company, and technicians dedicated to providing you
with the best service available. Our technicians live in Carnegie
and are on call 24/7 to ensure your service is of the highest
quality available.
In short, Carnegie Cable is a hard deal to beat! Local service,
local channels at no extra cost, and a degree of reliability that
satellite can't even begin to touch.
While satellite service is attractive, think about when you need
TV service the most, such as during thunderstorms or bad weather.
The technology of cable TV can provide you with important storm
warnings and weather updates when a satellite service is just
sitting there, "searching for signal". Carnegie Cable
also has an investment in our own community, by supporting local
organizations and events. We take pride in supporting our community
and schools. Try finding that from DISH or DirecTV! |
